Raymond (Ray) Faircloth Sr.

Ray Faircloth Sr., the youngest son of the late Clyde Ernest Faircloth Sr. and Minnie Ruth Edwards Faircloth, was born April 3, 1956 and raised in Wilmington, N.C.  During his youth he attended the 4th Street Freewill Holiness Church. He attended Sunset Park  Elem. & Junior High Schools, and graduated in 1974 from John T. Hoggard  High School.  He earned an Associates degree in Theology from Christian Life School of Theology and Seminary, and a  BA degree in Theology from the International Bible College and Seminary. (Independence, Mo) 

Rev Faircloth graduated May 3, 2008 from Southwestern Christian University (SCU) Graduate School in Oklahoma City with a Master of Ministry degree M.Min.

 He dedicates his achievements and degree to his loving mother.

At 12 years of age he felt the call to preach, but seemed to push it off. At 15 years old, God ministered to him in the middle of the night with another appeal to preach the Gospel; since that time he has continued to Preach and Teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

On April 3, 1976, (his 20th birthday) He married Ms. Virginia (Jenny) King, also of Wilmington. They have two wonderful children, Ray Jr. and Melissa, which are both very much involved in the ministry. Ray Jr. is married to the former, Shellie Marie McDowell. They have a beautiful daughter; TaRanda Jaden.  Melissa is married to Sammy Locklear III, They have two beautiful children, Savannah Ray-Ann, and Samuel Carter.

In 1985 Pastor Ray and Ms. Jenny began Pioneering the Harvest Fellowship Church in Shallotte, North Carolina. Harvest Fellowship was officially organized on January 11, 1987.

In March of 1990 the Faircloth's moved to Ahoskie, North Carolina where they pastored the First PH Church (now, Higher Ground).

On July 13, 1991 Pastor Ray and his family moved to Saint Pauls, North Carolina.   On July 13, 2008, Pastor Ray and his family will begin their 18th Year at THE LIFE CENTER.

Pastor Ray currently serves as a volunteer chaplain for Moore County Hospital, Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, St. Pauls Fire Department, The St. Pauls Town Board of Commissioners and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (troop B7 Robeson County). 

Mr. Faircloth was elected as chairman of the South St. Pauls precinct (Robeson County). He is the Lumberton District Director for the NC Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Churches (Falcon, NC / Oklahoma City)

On February 11, 2008 he filed to be a candidate for Robeson County Commissioner in District 8.  The Election day is May 6th.
